Drawing upon the textbook readings for this module and the Argosy University online library resources, research employee assessment theory and selection practices. Good starting points for conducting your research are the endnote chapter references in the textbook, as well as the articles mentioned in the Readings and Assignments suggestions for this module, which can be found in the Course Home section. On the basis of your research, address the following:

• What do assessments actually measure?
• What theory supports the use of assessments? When is it useful to use assessments for employee screening and selection?
• What are some of the legal considerations when using assessments for employee screening and selection purposes?
