This assignment is an in-depth investigation of a selected diagnosis which includes the pathophysiology, health assessment and pharmacology components.

Through this assignment, the student will demonstrate the ability to:

 

1.  Summarize the epidemiology, etiology and risk factors of the assigned diagnosis. (CO 1,3)

 

2. Explain the pathophysiologic processes of select health conditions. (CO 1)?

 

3. Distinguish clinical manifestations and complications for select disease processes. (CO1, 2, 3)?

 

4. Identify appropriate evidence-based therapeutic treatment for select health conditions utilizing drugs from the major drug classes. (CO 4) ?
