Policymaking Charting Assignment: Part I of the Course Project (150 points):
In this first step of your Policymaking project, use the provided MS Word Chart template Download MS Word Chart template(a minimum of one page in length):
- Research and choose one of the below contemporary policies of your choice and interest. You are welcome to use any policy we have touched upon throughout the course.
Then address the following prompts using the MS Word Chart template Download MS Word Chart template:
- State your topic from the list above or choose your own topic.
- Talk about some of the background issues that may have led to the policy.
- How does the policy impact individuals domestically or internationally?
- Find 2 to 3 sources related to your chosen policy. You are welcome to include: a state constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the United Nations Newsroom, the World Health Organization, or the PEW Research Center. All material within the course room can be cited and referenced as needed.
