In the last section of the final project, you will need to find a peer reviewed journal article to reference. Make sure your article was published within the past five years, that the DOI link works (or upload a PDF of the article itself) and that your APA formatted reference includes only accurate details about the article you cite. EDF 6437 Final project
Project Overview
200 points
The purpose of the final project is to assess your ability to apply the concepts of your coursework to activities related to measurement and single case design. You are given several weeks to work on the project. While the current course may not have covered all of the material at this time, you should begin looking over the sections and begin answering questions related to the content you have been exposed to. That being said, it is also important not to wait until the last week to begin working on the project. The final section of the project should consider your area of interest – especially if you want to move on to Advanced Single Case Design, where you will create a real proposal with an introduction and methods section.

Research Questions and Variables
15 points
1. Read the following passage from Lora and Kisamore (2019) :
The purpose of the current study was to evaluate the efficacy of errorless teaching, prompt delay, reinforcement, and multiple exemplar training on the acquisition, generalization, maintenance, and independent use of a problem‐solving strategy that involved a textual/pictorial activity schedule with four adolescents with ASD.
Answer the following questions:
a) What is/are the independent variable(s) (2 points)?
b) What is/are the dependent variable(s) (2 points)?
c) Who are the participants (1 point)?
2. Write a demonstration research question (5 points).
3. Write a parametric research question (5 points).

4. You are asked to take IOA on some recorded video of dogs barking. The BCBA tells you to “ Count the barks ” You are Observer 2 in the table below. First, watch the video and enter your observations in the table.

a) Calculate Total Count IOA for each dog and add to the table above. (5 points)
b) Did any of the (6) observations meet criteria for the conventional criteria for acceptable agreement (as defined by the Cooper et al. text)? Explain. (5 points)
c) Did you notice anything difficult about obtaining the count? What would you suggest be improved to rectify this situation? (5 points)
d) Now we are going to use the same data from above, but pretend that instead of dogs barking, you and Observer 1 calculated interval data. Place your same data from your Observer 2 column and enter the same percentages in the 4th column in the second table below.
