I spent 3 hours in a staff meeting analyzing the Quality measures tool in the organization. We evaluated the organizational and patient outcomes and satisfaction at this moment. I proposed strategies to provide high-quality health care related to the standards of quality health system goals. The meeting head was the company, Chief Medical Officer. 

This activity helps me understand disparities in care delivery that can affect the implementation of my DNP project before its performance guarantees the desired outcomes.

After the quality improvement meeting, I dedicated 3 hours to reviewing the literature and understanding the organizational performance tools with Hispanic diabetic patients. I included detailed information about staff and its performance goals; this information provided me with adequate judgment skills to identify who needs training focus on practice improvement. After acquired skill with the literature review, I decided to pass by a different clinic department that hired new staff recently. Stakeholder support is necessary for a successful change proposal project implementation. A professional conversation was established; this allowed me to approach the member commitment with the organization and patient care. Few new suggestions based on different points of view received. III. Clinical scholarship and Analytical Methods for EBP

Evaluate web-accessible training

I was challenged to get reliable, accurate web training to support clinical decision-making that meets my evidence-based nursing clinical practice change expectations. I targeted Diabetic patients' management tools in the Hispanic population and how providers can guarantee better performance using a new protocol in the clinic after evaluating the web-based information resources in frontline practice. This activity encourages me to understand disparities in diabetic care in my selected setting that can affect the implementation of my DNP project.

I spent 2 hours in consultation with an expert in family practice, Dr. Sanchez, where the screening tool implementation is challenging also about the best organizational model to implement during my project. His recommendation about the proper use of the guideline requires understanding the specific cultural traditions and, based on that, establishing a plan that works with providers and patients. She provided me with many details to be considered before the execution that will help me smooth the process.
